Abstract

Science process skills are to provide opportunities for children to gain new information through real experience through tree planting activities, this activity is an alternative learning that can stimulate science process skills in children. Tree planting activities are used as an alternative to science learning for children because it is assumed to have many benefits for achieving aspects of child development including science process skills. The purpose of this community service is to implement science process skills through tree planting activities during the new normal period at the Bumi Keselamatan Margarita Orphanage (BKM). The result of this community service is that through planting trees it is hoped that the children in the orphanage will be able to make real observations involving observing skills, comparing skills, classifying skills, measuring skills, guessing skills, and communicating skills.
