Sosialisasi Dalam Rangka Peningkatan Niat Pus Menjadi Peserta MOP Di Kecamatan Doloksanggul Kabupaten Humbang Hasundutan Tahun 2021

Abstract

Vasectomy is a clinical procedure to stop male reproductive capacity and is very effective (99.6%-99.8%) in limiting births by cutting the male reproductive tract. However, men's interest in becoming vasectomy participants is still very low, which is thought to be influenced by many factors such as education, attitudes, knowledge, lack of media exposure, beliefs, social environment and various other factors. Based on this, it is necessary to make efforts to increase the intention of PUS to become vasectomy participants. Efforts made are socialization through lecture methods, discussions and distribution of leaflets. This socialization was attended by 15 husbands who have partners of childbearing age. This activity was also attended by 1 village midwife as the person in charge of the posyandu and 10 posyandu cadres who participated in helping carry out the counseling. The results obtained were an increase in husband's knowledge and interest in becoming vasectomy participants after participating in socialization.
